With over 15 years in the financial trenches, Sabrina Burke’s approach to bookkeeping was forged in the fast-paced world of Manhattan corporate tax offices and franchise management. Long before "remote work" was a buzzword, she spent her days jumping between clients across the NYC boroughs and Long Island, seeing firsthand the mess that happens when financial systems lack a solid foundation.
As the founder of Fluffy Hammer Bookkeeping & Advisory, Sabrina has traded the subway commute for tech-stack architecture and remote-first security. During the 2020 shift, she didn’t just move her office home; she built a high-security, view-only workflow designed to protect client assets while supporting a massive breadth of new business opportunities. She’s a hard NO on compromised data, a philosophy she’s shared while discussing client security on the Unbalanced podcast.
Beyond the numbers, Sabrina is a mentor at heart. She has spent her career growing and training bookkeepers to think like partners, not just data entry clerks. Her unapologetic perfectionism is balanced by a deep commitment to the human side of the industry.
